Selena and Azura at the Salon

Selena stepped into the salon with Azura trailing behind her.
Selena: Come on Azura! It will be fun!
Selena: I'll even go first if you want, getting your haircut is fun, I did this once when I was young, my hair wasn't nearly as long though.
Selena's pigtails were getting long, they were down to the back of her knees, azura's hair was also a problem, it started to reach the floor.
Selena: Come on Azura! You won't have to keep your hair in a ponytail anymore, I still can't believe you've never gotten your hair cut before!
Azura Stepped inside the barbershop behind Selena, holding her long blue mane.
Azura: We're the only ones here...
Selena: Yeah it's perfect! We won't have to wait for anyone!
Camilla walked in from the back room and greeted Selena and Azura
Camilla: Hi how can I help you two today?
Selena: Hey! Azura really needs a haircut, and I thought I may as well get my hair cut too.
Azura hesitated as she displayed her hair in front of her shoulders
Azura: Yeah I just need a little trim... nothing too much, I like my long hair...
Camilla: Wow we're dealing with a lot of hair. You sure you don't want to try anything new? Like maybe an undercut to get rid of some weight?
Azura let out a little squeel, No! please, just a trim.
Selena: Wow, an undercut sounds cool! I think I might want to try that.
Camilla: Ok, well Azura, hop up onto the chair and we can get started.
Azura looked at Selena
Azura: Selena said she would go first though.
Selena: Oh whatever, I don't know why you're so scared Azura.
Camilla: Everyone's first haircut is always the scariest, but you have nothing to worry about azura!
Selena stepped up onto the high barber chair.
Camilla: So what were you thinking of doing with your hair today?
Selena: Probably just like 6 inches? I like long hair, but when it gets down to your knees, that's a bit excessive.
Azura sat down in the barberchair next to Selena as she stroked her long sky blue hair.
Selena: And what were you talking about with the undercut? I think I might want to try that!
Camilla: Undercuts are an amazing way to reduce some of the weight, I can even make a design on it that you can see when you have your hair up in the pigtails!
Selena: Azura want to get an undercut with me?
Azura shakes her head and goes back to stroking her hair
Camilla: One undercut coming up!
Camilla grabbed a nylon cape from the side of the chair and flicked it around Selena
Camilla buttons the cape at the back.
Camilla took Selena's long crimson pigtails out from beneath the cape and displayed them in front for Selena to see.
Camilla: We won't be needing these right now.
Camilla took Selena's hair ties out of her hair
Selena's hair almost reached the end of the cape like a crimson waterfall.
Camilla started to section out Selena's hair at the nape to ready it for the shave.
Azura starred anxiously at the large shiny clippers as Camilla took them off the hook and plugged them in.
Camilla: Now lets get started shall we?
Selena: Wait!
Camilla: What is it? chickening out already?
Selena: No... I really can't stand this hair. All the guys love it but I just really can't deal with it.
Azura: No Selena!
Selena: Could you cut it all of please? Not like all of it, but like maybe to my shoulders?
Azura: Selena how could you! You've been growing that hair since we were both young!
Selena: It's just hair Azura! Why are you so attached to my hair!
Azura: I just think you're making a rash deci- Camilla interupted Azura
Camilla: One bob cut coming up!


Camilla flicked the switch on the clippers
*CLICK* *BBBBZZzzzzzzzzzzz* The clippers gave off a low pitch
Azura started to hug her hair
Camilla: I won't make you look Selena, It can be hard to watch your hair get cut off
Camilla looked at azura and gave her an evil smile.
Camilla turned the chair and faced it towards Azura as to give her a front row seat to watch her friend get sheared.
Azura was too scared to look away from the death of something so beautiful
Camilla: Lets just get rid of this first!
Camilla gathered all of Selena's hair into the comb, and displayed it in front of selena's right shoulder.
Camilla positioned the roaring clippers right next to the comb full of red.
Selena shivered at the sound of clippers being so close to her ear right under her eyes
Camilla started to slide the clippers across the comb
The pitch of the clippers got lower as they struggled to get through the thick mass.
Azura Hugged her hair tighter
The hair stayed in place, trying it's hardest to stay on, but as Camilla rode the clippers across the comb,
the hair couldn't hold on. A waterfall of hair slid down the cape.
Camilla turned off the clippers.
There was a silence for a few seconds.
Hair was everywhere. Some hair managed to stay in Selena's lap, while some landed on Selena's boots.
Most of it landed lifelessly onto the floor in front of azura's feet.
Azura Squeeled: No! It was so long! Azura shed a tear.
Selena: Wow that felt so good! Azura Come on! It's just hair! And it's my hair! If anyone should be crying, it's me!
Camilla: Azura are you sure you don't want me to lop off the ponytail of your while I have the clippers out?
Selena: Yeah Azura, It feels like I just lost like 5 pounds of hair!
Azura shook her head and stared at the large pile of four feet of hair.
